Camp Reece -

Camp Reece

Camp Reece is a sleep-away camp for children with special needs: boys and girls ages 10yrs - 17yrs with an average to above cognitive functioning and adaptive skills. Our campers are in small groups of 8:3, ensuring them a more personalized attention and support to their summer camp experience. Our camp is located in the beautiful Saratoga Springs region with transportation from NYC and Westchester County.  This is an ideal setting for our campers to explore their untapped potential by exploring the world around them through our therapeutically well-rounded program that includes activities in Arts, Sports, and Adventure.

Activities

We offer a wide range of activities; each specifically designed to empower our campers to be the best that they can be. Our goal is to meaningfully engage campers while teaching skills, building confidence, improving self-esteem, encouraging social-emotional growth, and of course, having fun through our specifically designed program.

Staff

Our skilled and caring staff members differentiate instruction and modify activities whenever needed to ensure that all our campers despite their levels, abilities, and ages, can participate fully and successfully. We acknowledge every accomplishment and never miss the opportunity to provide positive feedback and recognition.

Memories

At Camp Reece, we encourage campers to learn about themselves as they explore new and exciting possibilities and stretch their boundaries of what they can achieve, while creating a lifetime of memories of fun with friends that they will carry with them long after summer’s end.
