    Experience the History of The Grand Carousel at The East Wind Shoppes in Wading River

    The Grand Carousel at The Shoppes at East Wind is the focal point of your one-stop shop destination experience. Our carousel is handicap accessible with a unique variety of animals for all to enjoy!

    It includes twelve horses, a cat, a zebra, a reindeer, a rooster, a bunny, and a dragon. As well as a chariot with enough seating for the whole family. All eighteen animals are jumpers. The twelve horses are “Country Fair” style, with vibrant colors and jewels.

    The carousel was built in 1993 by Chance Rides Inc. located in Wichita, Kansas. Its most recent home was in the Parmatown Mall in Parma, Ohio. In 2016, the carousel found a new home at the Shoppes at East Wind, located in Wading River. Riding our carousel is a memorable experience for all! Families and newlyweds are welcome to take photos on the carousel.
