The Campus Fun & Learn Child Development Center provides full and part-time care and education to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, with instruction in language, nature, science, cooking, literacy, art, music, and more. It also offers before and after school and half-day and vacation care to school-aged children. Busing to the before and after school programs is provided by East Ramapo and Ramapo Central School districts. Housed in a state-of-the art building, the Theresa Morahan Simmons Center for Children and Families, the center is open year-round to all Rockland residents.
"We have high standards, and we tend to aim higher than what the state requires," says Kyle Miller, director of the center, citing staff requirements and child-to-staff ratios as points of pride. McGregor's donation will help the center continue to offer its services without cutting back on quality, Miller says.
