The mission of the NY Hudson Valley Chapter of the Tourette Syndrome Association is to provide service, information, and support to people with Tourette’s syndrome and their families, to educate medical and educational professionals in order to increase their understanding of TS, and to promote greater understanding of TS in the community at large. Yad B’Yad is a synagogue-based, inclusive program for Jewish teenagers with developmental challenges that focuses on social and life skills. The target population for the program is Jewish teenagers who struggle with social interactions and may have learning, cognitive, or emotional challenges. Teenagers work with peer mentors; participate in electives (i.e. cooking, yoga, Israeli dance, drama), holiday and other special events such as field trips. The program runs from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday evenings, along with the current Religious School.

Green Chimneys offers comprehensive diagnostic services for children and adolescents who may be facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and/or learning issues. Services include ADOS, psycho-education assessment, neuropsychological testing, and psychiatric evaluation to identify challenges. All services are provided under supervision of a licensed psychologist to review results and recommend treatment, school placement, and/or follow-up services.
