The Prenatal Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital Recognizes World Breastfeeding Week by Hosting Global 'Big Latch On' Event

The Prenatal Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital is hosting a “Big Latch On” community event on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 9:30-11:30am in support of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7, 2019). The Prenatal Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital is located at 258 High Avenue in Nyack, N.Y. “The Big Latch On” is a global breastfeeding initiative that launched 10 years ago in advocacy and support of global maternal and children’s health awareness.

This community event will bring together women who breastfeed and their infants/children at a designated “latch on” time while providing lactation support and education at various healthcare facilities and community centers around the world. All lactating mothers, accompanied by their partners, family members and supporters, are welcome to participate. Registration is required as space is limited.
