Lego STEM Learning Center to Open in Nanuet

Fay Nham started her Bricks 4 Kidz franchise in September 2015 as a mobile business. It currently offers after-school classes to 10 schools throughout Rockland County. With a desire to be able to reach more children in the area, Nham decided to open a brick and mortar Creative Learning Center. “With the Center, we are hoping to be able to offer, in addition to after-school classes, preschool classes, camp during the summer and holiday breaks, birthday parties, ‘kidz night out,’ robotics, and stop motion animation classes,” Nham says.

The programs are led by trained Bricks 4 Kidz teachers and include after-school enrichment classes, summer camps, preschool classes, robotics classes and birthday parties that provide a safe, relaxed learning environment, where initiative is invited and self-expression is celebrated. 

The goal of Bricks 4 Kidz is to provide STEM-enriched programs using Lego Bricks that will build problem-solving skills, provide an opportunity for creative expression, and foster an appreciation for how things work. It aims to have children play and socialize with friends while learning the fundamentals of engineering and architecture in a non-competitive setting and to help children understand that architecture and engineering are viable career choices.
