Stony Point Cheer Facility Offers Movie Birthday Parties

Mania Training Facility, a cheerleading-focused fitness facility for children, recently began offering movie night birthday parties for kids. The birthday party location in Rockland County also offers cheerleading and baseball parties.

After hosting movie nights for its students, Mania Training Facility in Stony Point began offering Movie Nite themed birthday parties for children ages 3-14 in January.

Movie Nite parties focus on a movie of the child’s choice. The movie is projected onto a large screen and popcorn is provided for snackng. The training facility has a selection of movies to pick from, but if the child has a favorite movie, parents can provide it or pay to have Mania download it. Once the movie is over, children can work on tumbling in the mats, navigate an obstacle course, or jump on a trampoline in supervised play.

Other birthday party themes that Mania offers include cheerleading, tumbling, and baseball. These parties focus more on skill and are best for children who are comfortable with less free-play.

“Our other birthday parties are more structured,” owner Lauren Gould says. “The staff teaches fundamental skills while still having fun.”

Movie Nite parties cost $350 for three hours. Cheerleading, tumbling, and baseball parties range from $200-$300 for 1½ hours. Pizza and party supplies are provided for packages starting at $250, but parents must bring a cake. After 12 children, an additional fee of $10-$12 is paid per child.

Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 4pm-8pm, and Saturday, 9am-3pm. Parties can be booked for weekends.
