The Nyack Farmers’ Market—one of the oldest and most successful in the tri-state area—celebrates its 17-year commitment to local produce and specialty foods by adding a Saturday market to the weekly schedule. The market is open Thursdays, 8am-2pm through Nov. 26, and Saturdays, 8am-1pm, June 7-Nov. 22 rain or shine. Run by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, market days feature fresh, seasonal harvests from the area’s farms and food producers, baked and specialty goods, cooking demonstrations, fresh flowers, live music, face painting, and great family entertainment. EBT cards and food stamps are accepted.
