At Tutor Time®, our educational child care begins with a deep respect for your child’s eagerness to learn and capacity to develop meaningful relationships.

We believe that secure relationships with responsive and respectful adults can provide the basis for a lifelong love of learning. Our dedicated and highly trained teachers focus on creating these nurturing relationships that allow children to feel valued and empowered.

This philosophy inspires the Tutor Time® StartSmartTM and LifeSmartTM curriculums, which focus on developing your child’s unique interests and abilities with hands-on active learning and opportunities for self-expression.

Our Whole Child Education philosophy cultivates your child’s entire being. And our Creating Character program teaches skills such as teamwork, citizenship, kindness and respect.

-Our Procare Child Care Software security system along with an exclusive Biometric/Fingerprint recognition technology allows our staff instant access to your child’s medical information, arrival and departure times and the names of people authorized for drop off and pick up.

-We equip classrooms with monitoring security cameras and observation windows. Administrators and parents can view all activities at any time.

Infant (6 wks - 1 yr)

Toddler (1 - 2 yrs)

* Toddlers use their bodies, senses, and emerging problem ­solving skills, with a balance between individual attention and group experiences.

* Our Toddler classrooms encourage exploration and promote cognitive, physical, social­ emotional, and language development. Our exclusive, milestone­focused curriculum, Learn from the Start™, was developed by our educational experts to focus on key developmental milestones specific to infants and toddlers.
* We emphasize your child’s development, rather than specific age, because all children grow and learn at their own pace, and in their own unique way. Learning experiences are designed to address the individual needs and abilities of each child, in each classroom.

Twos (2 - 3 yrs)

* Your child's developing independence is nurtured.
* This classroom has a daily routine that includes both individual and small-group experiences. Our exclusive, milestone-focused curriculum, Learn from the Start(TM), is driven by key developmental milestones specific to children preparing to enter preschool.
* We emphasize your child's development, rather than specific age, because all children grow and learn at their own pace, and in their own unique way. Learning experiences are designed to address the individual needs and abilities of each child, in each classroom.

Early Preschool (2.5 - 3.5 yrs)

* The Early Preschool program offers meaningful, sensory-based activities and learning experiences.
* Your child's developing independence is nurtured.
* This classroom has a daily routine that includes both individual and small-group experiences. Our exclusive, milestone-focused curriculum, Learn from the Start(TM), is driven by key developmental milestones specific to children preparing to enter preschool.
* We emphasize your child's development, rather than specific age, because all children grow and learn at their own pace, and in their own unique way. Learning experiences are designed to address the individual needs and abilities of each child, in each classroom. 

Preschool (3 - 4 yrs)

* Preschool education is an essential step on the path to kindergarten, with hands 
* We embrace children's individual smarts.
* Our exclusive Learning Care System™ digital curriculum offers lesson plans that are generated based on each child's developmental needs and milestones, resulting in a customized, personalized curriculum.
* Our program provides children with the developmental and educational skills needed for a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond.
* Grocery shopping in our Tutor Towne™ Village, reading and sharing stories, building models and towers, learning a new dance – all of these are ways to reinforce concepts. And while this is the time that teachers introduce a more structured environment, we still set aside plenty of time for self-directed play and experimentation. 

Pre-Kindergarten (4 - 5 yrs) 

* The Pre-K program builds on Preschool learning. We focus on problem solving, responsive listening, language usage, and social skills.
* Significant developmental gains happen here.
* Pre-K learning experiences continue to be driven by the needs of the children, through the Learning Care System™ digital curriculum. Also, Focus on Literacy features in-school and at-home activities designed to improve your child's literacy and cognition in areas such as vocabulary development and alphabet knowledge.
* Plus, our K-Prep enhancement introduces your child to kindergarten concepts and experiences, with small-group instruction and extended seatwork.
K-Prep is for children starting kindergarten immediately after Pre-K in the fall. 

UPK (4 - 5 yrs) 

* Every kid is a SMART kid - that's the philosophy behind everything we do at Tutor Time®! Universal Pre-kindergarten (UPK) is a special program that was established by the New York State Education Department and the local school districts to provide a pre-kindergarten experience for children. Lessons are designed to ensure that children grasp concepts in ways that are most meaningful to them. Classrooms include learning centers designed around these “smarts” to encourage independent discovery. So in addition to the 3 R's (Reading, Riting and Rithmetic), your child will learn to love learning!
