Horseback Riding Lessons – Open to the Public 

Venture Equestrian is pleased to offer year-round private riding lessons to adults and children. Venture Equestrian features an outdoor riding ring, and a state-of-the-art indoor, all-weather
riding arena – all conveniently located just off the Palisades Parkway Exit 14. 

Lessons are available for those ages 5 and up; riders of all skill levels are welcome. Our instructors have 20+ years’ experience in horsemanship and riding, and our site director is PATH certified. Lessons are available Mon-Thurs, and Saturday, afternoons and evenings. 

Therapeutic Riding Sessions 

Venture Equestrian offers therapeutic horseback riding sessions to riders of all abilities and skill-level. 

For people with special needs, horseback riding can provide a range of therapeutic benefits conveying a sense of empowerment and mastery. Riding improves physical strength, balance, mobility and coordination. It helps to promote a better attention span, concentration, social awareness, confidence, and self-esteem.

Riding skills are taught step-by-step, with deference to the physical and cognitive abilities of the rider. Our staff is a caring and competent team who share a love of horses and riding, and, more importantly, a commitment to offer this unique and potentially life-changing experience to children and adults in our community.
