New Indoor Go-Kart Opens in West Nyack

 

To the already activity-packed Palisades Center Mall, add one more kid-centric destination: Autobahn Indoor Speedway, an indoor go-karting facility, is now open. The 43,000-square-foot venue offers children and adults the thrill of speeding around a track driving a go-kart inspired by Formula One racecars at speeds up to 50 mph.

 

Autobahn, on the second floor of the mall, has karts for adults and children. “Junior” racers must be at least 8 years old and 48 inches tall.  Pricing starts at $21.99 for a single junior race, plus all attendees must purchase a $5 “temporary license” that is good for one week and includes a helmet, among other things.

 

Autobahn Indoor Speedway is open seven days per week ad is also available for birthday parties and other group events. Annual memberships are also offered.

 

The Palisades Center in West Nyack has grown into much more than a shopping mall, as any visitor there knows well. It features a ropes course, carousel, Ferris wheel, ice skating rink,  IMAX movie theater, and much more. Now, kids—and grown ups—can live out their race-car fantasies there as well.
