Hudson Valley Psychotherapy Opens In Nyack

Hudson Valley Psychotherapy opened in May 2015 in order to provide services to families in the Nyack area. Run by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kelly Harris, the practice specializes in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship and family issues. 

Harris has over 13 years of experience, and works with children, teenagers, adults, and families from all different backgrounds. She also has additional experience working in school systems, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient settings, and private practice.   

Located in the Nyack Business Center, Harris says her practice “provides a safe and non-judgmental environment.” She works with her patients on overcoming the challenges they are facing and reaching their goals. Her approach is client-centered, integrating different therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused and psycho-dynamic therapy. 

Harris, who lives in the Nyack area, chose the Nyack Business Center for her practice because of its safe and welcoming environment. She currently accepts Empire BCBS, United Healthcare, and Cigna health insurances.
